School Closure from 3.15pm Friday 20th March

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following advice from the Government, we will be closing the school at 3.15pm on

Friday 20th March. Little Bees will be open as usual.

From Monday 23rd March we will only be able to offer a core service to pupils of government-sanctioned Key Workers; to children the government have identified as vulnerable; and to those the school have identified as requiring specific support.

We are still waiting on a full list of key workers from the government but this is likely to include the following services: school Staff, Health Services, Social Care, Delivery Drivers, Emergency Services, food manufacturers/ sellers. If you work in one of these industries and would like to send your children in on Monday, please contact the school on Friday 20th March to find out if you are eligible.

Children with an EHCP, looked after children and those with social services involvement are also eligible to attend Monday and one of the team will call you on Friday with details.

The school will remain open for all eligible pupils for as long as we have enough staff to ensure children are safe.

Any pupils who have underlying health problems or have COVID-19 symptoms should not attend school and remain at home. This will also apply to pupils who live with someone with an underlying health condition or are showing symptoms of COVID-19.

Given this unprecedented challenge and the rapid changes of advice, we are not fully aware of the possible length of school closures. There will, however, be regular updates from the school regarding any further closures.

Please look after yourselves and keep safe.
