Ofsted report

Our most recent Ofsted inspection was held on 15 and 16 October, 2024. We were the first school in Lewisham (and one of the first in the country) to be inspected under the new process of not receiving an overall single grade, but graded for each of the five areas of inspection:

Early Years Provision

Ofsted has assessed Beecroft as ‘Good’ in 4 of 5 categories. We are pleased with our report which highlights many of our strengths, including:

●     A warm and inclusive community where pupils are happy and safe.

●     Strong emphasis on reading, phonics, and early literacy skills.

●     Well-structured curriculum in English and mathematics.

●     High-quality provision in arts, especially music and art.

●     Effective support for pupils with SEND.

●     Positive behaviour and attitudes from pupils
