What specialist services and expertise are available?

As a school we work closely with any external agencies that are relevant to supporting individual children’s needs. Please also see the Beecroft ‘Local Offer’ attached to the SEND 11Policy on our website, as well as the Additional information section at the end of this document.

Health services include: school nurse, CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service), paediatricians, speech and language therapists, occupational and physiotherapists;

Children’s Services include: social workers; educational psychologists and specialist advisory teachers, such as from Drumbeat Autism Outreach service. In addition, our links with the Behaviour Outreach Team, along with our Learning Mentors, all provide support as is appropriate to the child’s needs
